For Ockbrook and Borrowash Senior Citizens

What do we provide?

A lunch is arranged every month at the Royal Oak in Ockbrook and the Foresters in Borrowash, with transport provided, where needed.

Tickets can be purchased from the Ockbrook Post Office and Busy Hands in Borrowash.

For those members of the community who live alone or are housebound, we offer a home visiting service – a weekly visit from a regular volunteer who has been fully police checked.

The organisation has established good contacts with local school pupils.  Infant, junior and senior school pupils are involved in the scheme, and offer opportunities for conversation, attendance at music and drama productions and sharing school meals.

Outings are arranged throughout the year to places of interest.
